Another man was charged 17 figures for a dinner out.
The thing that gets me is how long they had to spend on the phone with their banks, clearing up the problems with their accounts.

How else are these banks going to get out of the situation they got into? Many have already cranked up credit card interest rates, etc to make consumers pay more. That's why I left Bank of America! They even bilked my 20 y/o son out of $250 on the 'save the change' deal he signed up for!
No, it's a credit union for me, from now on......

No, it's a credit union for me, from now on......If I responded with my heartfelt opinion of these sorts of practices, I fear we would need to move this to the controversial forum.
