Friends, I have been handed a medical device specification from a European customer which lists three presumably European pallet specifications, as follows:
NF H 50-001
NF H 50-003
NF H 50-004
I would very much like to hear from anyone who has experience with these standards and can tell me what they're about.

Hello Norris,
The standards you referred to in your post are actually French (AFNOR) standards for pallets.
For more information (French and English) read this document (http://www.lomag-man.org/normes/normeNIMP15/normes_emballages-palettes/emballages_palettes_2005.pdf).
You should look at the entire document for EN (European Norm) equivalent Standards.
You also want to ask your Customer, just to make sure.
Stijloor.

Thanks a lot, Stijloor. I now think that the inclusion of those pallet specifications was an inadvertence on the part of the customer. The specification was clearly descended from the specification of a different product, one that was made in France, by my company for the same customer. So thanks, Stijloor, and I'm pleased not to have to follow the trail further.
