I expect many of you have picked up on the customer care disaster that United Airlines perpetrated on Canadian guitarist Dave Carroll.

It made a 07.22 am slot today (23 July 2009) on the BBC Radio 4 Today programme based on a video on YouTube

He sounds to be a very reasonable guy.

When Canadian musician Dave Carroll flew to Nebraska on United Airlines, its baggage handlers broke his guitar. The company refused him compensation so he wrote a song about it and posted it on YouTube. He discusses the success of the video, which has been viewed 3.7 million times.

I heard about it on the news this morning, but I have not viewed the video yet.
