Hey guys,
If you haven't browsed over any of my previous posts, I'm working for a non-profit community agency that has about 10 active programs geared towards newcomer assistance. One of our programs (Seniors Program) has been mandated to become ISO 9001:2008 certified by 2011. I've approached the Exective Director with a plan to get the whole organization certified by 2011; however, the ED feels the task is too daunting right now and would want me to try to get the Seniors Program Certified First as it is the only program that needs to be certified by 2011.
I desperatly to not want to recieve certifications program by program because it is our inter-program communication structures that really need a reform for our organization as a whole to meet the ISO 9001:2008 requriements.
However, this is what I'm stuck with.
Do I have to write a complete quality manual for the single senoirs program? If so, when i'm looking to begin certification on another one of our programs do I have to write a seperate quality manual for it? If any one has any experience doing ISO 9001 certifications on single departments and programs, some advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance Cove Members!
Shawn
