I have seen several treatments. At least some if not all certification bodies have one. The January 09 issue of Quality Digest has a very well done comparison.

There had been quite a few discussions in this topic in the cove too. I once collected a good comparision which was posted in the cove. For you I am attaching that along with my post.

With an average of 5000-6000 posts per month, you will be overwhelmed, if you miss the Cove for a few months.

Try looking in 9001:2008 itself. The changes are summarized in Table B1
