We are a looking for a consultant to help expedite our ISO certification.
Company is in Rockford IL
Scope of work required for ISO 9001:2008 Certification for Ingersoll Machine Tool. (MES Division)
The following items will be required:
1. Review and assess Quality manual for compliance to standard. Recommend changes if required.
2. Perform gap assessment.
3. Review and recommend changes or additions to procedures, work instructions, policies, and diagrams for division compliance.
4. Address and deliver timeline (tasks) milestones to complete project. Deliver presentation to IMT management.
5. Train company employees on ISO awareness and train our selected internal auditors. (Possibly perform a internal audit)
6. Review all documentation (procedures, work instructions) for compliance to industry standards.
7. Gather and assess the 6 requirements information for compliance to standard.
8. Review flow chart for division and assess for design changes if required.
9. Work with IMT through ISO process including the outside auditor process.
10. Provide work to be completed by IMT employee’s
11. Review and assess requirements for HR and Purchasing relating to the MES division certification.
12. Prepare Client for pre-assessment audit. Provide conformance to any audit findings.
13. Provide requirements if any for IT for record retention.
14. Review management meeting requirements for objectives to satisfy to standard.
15. Sign a confidentially agreement with IMT.
16. Schedule registration date.
17. Work and recommend procedures (process) for approval of suppliers.
The MES Division Facts
· 28 employees
· Manufacturing facility with precision machine capability for large components
· External customers include GE and Caterpillar ($250000 annual)
· Internal customer to Ingersoll Machine Tool Inc.
· Includes Maintainance Dept, Inspection Dept, Applications Dept (Programming) and Assembly work (no Design)
· ISO 9000 Certification expired in 2002
· Target end of the year for certification
· SAP system in place
