Hi,

Can someone tell me the QA metrics that I should include if I were reporting?

Here is a list of the metrics I could think of

Process Capabilities
NCR's issused
Scrap Rate
Rework

What else can I add?

Quality metrics may be dependent on your industry. Please try using the search function here in the Cove (upper right corner) for Key Performance Indicators.

What made you decide to include the above criteria? Your answer to my question would be the answer to your original question.

One tip is to use/create a few really relevant metrics and drive these hard. Dont measure to much or just for measurements sake. Dont be too quick to set targets. Often people (mgmt) set targets to metrics they do not understand. If you are new to the metrics, make sure to have some time to collect data, crunch it and create an understanding of how the measures behave. Also review them at least yearly to find out if they are still relevant.

Something else to consider when setting up KPIs is to consider the company's objectives and strategic vision. The KPIs established should be aligned to support whether or not the company is achieving the objectives and vision.
