I feel almost certain that I had posted a reply to one of the threads in the SPC forum. I now find that it is missing from the thread! Is this possible marc? Or am i making a mistake?

Thanx.

So far I haven't seen any failures in the databases.

The only issue I am aware of is the 'back button' issue when posting a reply that some people have experienced. If you experience the 'Back Button' problem when trying to 'Post' a reply (as far as I know that's when that 'error' occurs for all the people who experience the problem), that may be the issue.

I have deleted posts before - but I rarely do. I did last night - Eileen posted a form - and succeeded with one - and there were a bunch of tries - so I deleted a couple of the 'empty upload posts'. I screwed up as I hit the 'edit' button of the post just above the one I really wanted to delete - and then hit the 'Delete OK?' button just as I realized what I had done.

If you remember the thread you think you responded to let me know and I'll look at it with the database tool I have. But as I said - so far the databses have checked out OK. And if I 'Move' a thread I leave a 'Marker'.

Can't think of anything else.

Oh! One other thing I have seen a few times when there was network congestion is where I submit a post and - wait a minute and nothing happens. I 'Copy' the contents of the message body and then navigate back to the forum threads listing (essentially up a level) and then reload the thread. It almost always posted. Once it didn't - I just replied again and pasted the text I had copied. But I bet that hasn't happened to me but 4 or 5 times since August.
