What are the pain points/typical problems involved in implementation of APQP.

Example :
1.Lack of proper understanding of APQP
2.Lack of Senior Management Involvement
3.Too much documentation required

It al depends on the company, I suppose. However two big pain points I see is companies don't fully understand the process, and companies trying to go through the motions to meet some customer mandate (more in regards to PPAP however).

Many of the companies I work with don't design, so they are not sure how APQP applies to them. They think it really doesn't, so they ignore it.
