I have a suggestion...

We know that reading and search for information improve the experience and maintain information

I suggest that the forum management can suggest a new topic every week, this topic will be related to quality or management, this topic may be from the famous magazine or article from newspaper and all members interested will read this article and make a brief for this article and show the advantages and disadvantages of this article and in this topic we can discuses that point that we can't understand.

I suggest this, because I find this is very interesting and useful especially to people that English is not their mother language.

Where this help them to improve their language and improve their information and increase their ability to understand any other article.

Thanks

Unware if you've been paying attention or not, but we have a tendancy to have multiple new topics to discuss on a daily basis. Your suggestion, though admirable, isn't in line with reality.

We also have "The Reading Room" which pretty much does what you are recommending. It is located in the main menu and here and has been so for a number of years.

I was under the impression that, normally, we had many topics for discussion which are new, almost daily. Certainly there are long threads which some folks may find boring after a while, or topics which hold no interest to part of the Cove community, and "you can't please all of the people all of the time"....

I can't say it's a bad idea, but we did something like that some years ago and it wasn't very popular so it fell by the wayside.

I would suggest that if anyone here would like to do a Weekly Topic, as has been mentioned there is the "Reading Room" forum where a discussion thread can be started, and there is also the Blog part of the software here. Anyone with 10 posts can start a blog here.

1. We have more than 32,000 threads here which may take the average working people years to read and which I think is enough reading material if you think reading helps.

2. Almost every topic relating to quality issues had been covered or touch-on, so coming up with a new topic every week is a challenge.

3. We welcome postings by users on work related issues because these real life happenings are often in a different situation than the topics that had been discussed and discussions therefore enrich our knowledge further.

4. The other way to learn the language is to learn how to write. Therefore, we strongly encourage users to 'post'. On the average, only 80-100 people posted each day.
