We have also completed Stage 2 of the audit. We have been recommended for certification. We are now looking to purchase a banner for the side of our building....boy a bunch of different prices on these. Does anyone have any advice on purchasing a banner? Also, we are looking at using "certified" or "registered" on the banner, any suggestions?

Great going Welty.

Whatever type banner you get make sure it is procurred in an environmentally safe manner, recyclable and conservative:biglaugh:

C'mon,

The banner needs to be constructed of asbestous (sp), nylon, and graphite! Then when they go for 14000 they will have a continuous improvement project.

Sam & Welty - Congrats on your achievement!
Take a short :thedeal: break you've earned it.

Welty - Welcome to the Cove! You have no doubt already seen just how much more active this forum group is (not to metion the outstanding set-up done by our host Marc).

by the way...I vote for Certified.

Hope everyone in the US has a great Thanksgiving (and all others have a great weekend when it comes).

Just thought I would keep all informed.

My present client is doing the Phase 2 Registration audit as I type this.

I've had to go to the head 3 times in the last 90 minutes.;)

The audit goes until the 19th, and I hope my biological functions don't shut down.

Randy,

Way too much info!!!

By the way, why 3 times in 90 minutes?

I can think of only 4-5 reasons. Should we start a FMEA?:bigwave:

The auditor's name wouldn't happen to be Lucy Bowels?

Not you, Lucinda!:bigwave: :smokin:

Maybe my name ought to be I.P. Freely.:biglaugh:

We finished day 1 w/no non-conformances.:D

The MR didn't need to go on Oxygen as we feared.

I'll fill you all in on day 2.

I'm sitting here at home now getting ready to head out to Arkansas in about 6 hours and I decided to take the time to share with my bud's.

We finished the Phase 2 portion of my clients ISO 14001 registration audit early this afternoon .

There were no non-conformances found and so my client ---

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is being recommended for certification to ISO 14001 by Interk Services.

(For Lucinda I will note that the cert will be a UKAS one)

You guys helped.
:agree:

I'll be out of touch until Friday most likely, so everybody take care.:bigwave:

we changed registrars in '03 and have been re-certed for another three years.
