We recently purchased calibration software that also does gage R&R. Is it permissible to use data from calibrations as part of a gage R&R? Also, are there any "standards" for calibration/gage R&R for mics, calipers, etc.?

For question #1, I don't see how the data can be mixed. Calibrations verify conformance to a known, traceable standard. R&R is measuring gage and assessor variation to a specific part.

As for standards to be applied, I can only suggest the AIAG QSR & MSA manuals and a search of the FTP site on the forum.

Let's here from some of the inspection/test equipment gurus!

I'm inclined to agree, the two do not mix. Gauge R&R requires different operators. Calibration in most companies centre around one technician. I would not shortcut here, ensure your equipment is calibrated then develop an R&R programme for your equipment along the lines of your calibration programme but seperate.
