I am really enjoying this forum. I am new to the manufacturing area and ISO. As an HR trainer it has been great to come here and find out what others are doing in ISO as I educate myself in my new role with the company. Thanks! :D

Does anyone know if there are forums like this in the training area? I have tried the web search, but it has been unsuccessful.

Again, thanks for the help!

Nav,
Have you checked Google Groups (usenet) and Yahoo Groups?
I am sure you'll find many there.

I'll go along with that. I've got about 35 years experience in some very broad based training.

Maybe Marc is asleep. At his age people get like old dogs. Eat, sleep, no sex, sleep, eat & poop.:biglaugh:

hey don't pick on Marc's age!!!!!!!....LOL

I think I am older than he is..............or at least running a close race.

Actually didn't he say something about a field trip? Maybe he is still waiting to clear the airport security????

I don't have a good handle on what it would contain, but if it is not too much hassle I don't think it could do anything but help. If it is an easy thing to set-up why not try it and we might all be surprized where it goes. One thing for sure, most all of us here have at one time or another been both trainer and trainee, with some folks making it their specialty, so I think the knowledge base is there.

:agree: Good idea. I'm in too. A training forum would be nice. Any which way you look at training it's a big part of our jobs, and there are so many ways to conduct training, be it formal or informal...

If there is need for another training forum moderator I happily volounteer. (I also volounteer as student).

At a bare minimum people may be able to request tips/sample for training programs, and people may be willing to post partial/full training presentations and/or tips.

Their may be lots of polls
How do you train these type of people to do this type of thing?

Sounds like a good place to collect this specific IDEA that may cross stadards and existing forum topics.
