Does anyone know where I can find flatness tolerances on tempered cold rolled stainless steel coils. I have checked with our mill sources and they don't have anything in writing. Any help would be appreciated.

Sam 29th January 2003, 02:47 PM Yoy didn't mention your mill source, but when I was a design engineer I would usually call Jorgensen or Ryerson. Dale 29th January 2003, 03:24 PM dbulak, I don't understand your question. What would a flatness tolerance mean for steel coils? Doesn't all coil steel have to be straigtened, when processed, because of the coil set? Geoff Cotton 30th January 2003, 05:41 AM How thick is the stainless? I might have a contact who can help. |
