We have found that the engineers / supervisors in the Manufacturing department have no time to supervise the shop or attend to problems that may come on the machine because they are fully occupied in recording the problems that occur on the shop floor than on attending the machine.Hence I have decided to reduce their writing work without sacrificing the requirements of QS9000 system.
Any suggestion that could help me will be appreciated.
Also I would be grateful if someone could send me a copy of the records that you maintain on the shop floor.

Just how much day-to-day record-keeping do you have them doing?
