I am working in a watch industry. I am responsible to develop the visual standard for inspection, globally. Our mother company(the customer) has given some guidelines in terms of technology(i.e. injection moulded, Metal¡Ketc), and defect type(i.e. scratch, spot¡Ketc). However, not specify the acceptance criteria in the document.

I was instructed to hand on the standard on next Wed, but I don¡¦t know how to start. Any format, standard or reference for visual standard? Anyone can help?

Hopefully the attached file might give you some ideas on where to start - visual inspection / acceptance needs to be have any subjectivity removed. "Master" samples signed off by the customer are also a good idea!
