I've written our ISO9001:2000 manual using the new standard. I crossed referenced our existing, (old) ISO9002:1994 SOP's to the new standard. Is there anything else new that has to be done? A friend did the same at his company and passed. We are still having Management Review meetings addressing the new standard. What else is there?

Hi, murban

2 things jump immediately to mind.

1. You need to identify your processes and their interactions (4.1a). Search the Cove for more discussion on this than you might want.

2. You need to identify how you track customer satisfaction (8.2.1).

Hope this helps.

Craig

I hope you are just talking about compliance of the quality manual. There are MANY new or changed requirements in the new standard. Merely creating a new quality manual referencing your old SOPs is just one small step toward a quality system that will meet the requirements of the new standard.
