Could not find any ref above on this website ? above related food standards are a composite of HACCP / Quality Management System / GMP. QMS section is a partial borrow from ISO 9001. google has a few sample audits of these standards but cannot find any viewable prototype quality manuals (or any other). Anybody seen any custom offerings ?

Thanks, Carol. There's a request for a forum dealing with HAACP / HACCP here and I'm thinking about it, but if it's already covered I may use a link. I have some thinking to do...

I have been told that the BRC (British Retail Consortium) standards do not require a Quality Manual. Does anyone know if this is true?

Welcome Ecompete,

Honestly, I am not sure also but I had not seen one that's without a manual so far.

Its been a long time since I did a BRC Food Safety Program under the Issue 4 standard. Issue 5 has since been established and recently released.
Base on the requirement under section 2 of the BRC Standard, I confirm that a QMS is a mandatory criteria.
