I was wondering if anyone could give me some ideas as to a "checklist" or a step-by-step process to follow (in a simplistic fashion) when conducting APQP and PPAP activities.
Basically, I would like to construct a basic, step-by-step generic list of what is necessary, at a minimum, to satisfy the intent of QS9000.
Also, any information on PFMEA's would be helpful.

See The APQP Process (http://Elsmar.com/APQP/)
Have you checked out the APQP pdf files? There are a number of 'idea' files in the pdf_files directory such as the Free Files Directory (http://Elsmar.com/pdf_files/) - Look for AQP_Matr.pdf and APQP_Q.pdf .

Their is book on APQP by D.H.Stamatis "Advanced Quality Planning: A Commonsense Guide to AQP and APQP" (http://books.google.com.my/books?id=PKk00BsPOvQC&dq=%22Advanced+Quality+Planning:+A+Commonsense+Guide+to+AQP+and+APQP%22&printsec=frontcover&source=bl&ots=fURmejvt_U&sig=yClZwwV_b_fJCsXmS9rSGYaCCEE&hl=en&ei=c_-2Sse1H5WOkQWC3sHJCw&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=1#v=onepage&q=&f=false) Its a good starting point.
Later you can check out AIAG manuals once you understand the flow

You're responding to a 10-year old post. I do not know if the original poster is still around.
