Hello Everyone and Merry Christmas!
Has anyone used the AIAG Process Identification Tool?
I'm finding it difficult to use.
Thanks!

I played with it for a little while, and I found it difficult to use too. If your system is already pretty well developed, I'd develop something simpler to use.
(sorry, not much help...)

Have you downloaded the implementation manual? It may shed some light (darkness) on the process tool. It's 207 pages. Most of it is TS/Qs - Qs/Ts stuff, but it does have some info on the tool.
It was published too late for me to use it.

I've looked at both the spreadsheet and the manual that Sam mentions. Both are equally useless. (JMHO)
Go with mapping your own system. It's hard (boy, do I know!!!!), but it's much better in the long run than trying to use a canned tool.
all the best

dbsman,
Now that we have given our opinions; maybe you could outline the area you are having difficulty. We could all review it, provide our input and learn from the process.
IMO, this tool and the implementation manual will be a requirement by the end of 04.
