I am trying to document "Maintenance Objectives". Can anyone give me a couple of examples?

Examples might be: Increasing critical equipment uptime by 20% by implementing a new preventive maintenance system and by, using analysis of perishable tooling data, optimizing changeouts of perishable tooling; increasing equipment Cpk's by improving the timing of doing maintenance for tool wear; optimizing maintenance scheduling by tying the schedule to actual improvements (downtime, equipment capacity, quality,etc)to equipment. Your objectives could include, depending on where you are at with QS implementation, writing procedures as indicated in 4.9.g.1. For indicators and strategies, it would be useful to review some articles/books on TPM. There are a couple of threads that deal with this in this forum.
