I've done a quick search and I think we need a little more info......

Is this an automotive standard? Who is the end user? etc. etc.

Based on a quick searc, I would speculate it is a Palmer Manufacturing spec. It is listed in their index of specifications that I have attached. I found it at http://www.palmermfgco.com/suppliers.asp

I tried different formats and used GOOGLE. It turned up when I used a space between QA and 6098. Sometimes the spacing and format makes a difference when searching.
