View Full Version : GM's GP-10 - Evaluation and Accreditation of Supplier Test Facilities Quality-1 10th February 2004, 01:29 PM Hi: Could someone please let me know where to find the LATEST GP-10 from GM. Thank you. Teri 10th February 2004, 01:34 PM Have you tried *** DEAD LINK REMOVED *** ?? Quality-1 10th February 2004, 01:40 PM Thank you for your quick response. I tried this website and found documents like GP-8, GP-9, GP-11 etc but no GP-10. Teri 10th February 2004, 01:46 PM I found it. If you go to the document center, type GP 10 in the search, it pulls it up. http://www.gmsupplypower.com/apps/supplypoweranon/NASApp/spcds/CDSRetrieval?lob=quality&subnav=library See if this link will help. Once you get there, use the search function. Good luck! Quality-1 10th February 2004, 01:55 PM Thank you. I was able to download the document. I have one question. What does the following means in GP-10: 3. Do you have the applicable GM Engineering Materials and Processes Standards manuals and subscribe to the update service? Yes No How one can Subscribe to the Update Service? Thank you again. Al Dyer 10th February 2004, 04:18 PM Attached is a copy of GP-10 Al... Al Dyer 10th February 2004, 04:24 PM Quality 1, What you are asking for is the entire compilation of all GM engineering and test standards which compiled within a series of about 12 large manuals. Bill Ryan 11th February 2004, 04:06 PM Thank you very much Al Dyer and Bill Ryan for your help. Your welcome. I don't know that this is the only source to get automotive documents but one nice thing is this company emails you when a document you purchased is revised. Good luck, Bill Quality-1 11th February 2004, 04:15 PM Hi: 1- What is the exact name of the Document I shoud be looking under GM Engineering and Test Standard? as when I did a search under GM Engineering I see many. 2- Si not GM suppose to provide these Eng Documents Free? 3- Do Suplier to Delco Delphi need to follow this GP-10 requirement? Bill Ryan 11th February 2004, 04:36 PM Hi: 1- What is the exact name of the Document I shoud be looking under GM Engineering and Test Standard? as when I did a search under GM Engineering I see many. 2- Si not GM suppose to provide these Eng Documents Free? 3- Do Suplier to Delco Delphi need to follow this GP-10 requirement? 1 - I don't recall how well the "search" works on their site, but I think you need to know just what procedure/specification you require. As Al said, you can buy the volumes which will include a whole bunch of GPs and Specs. (some of which may or may not be pertinent to what you need). Or you can buy the individual specs you're company needs to adhere to. 2 - Wouldn't that be nice!!! (Gotta pay for those warranty and recall issues somehow  ) 3 - Don't have any knowledge of Delphi-Delco's requirements but Delphi-Steering expects us to follow GM guidelines for the parts we supply them that go to GM.
