Hi,
Does anyone have any experience in using "Internal Auditing Made Easy" video and guide from Paton Press?
If so is this a good training tool to show existing internal auditors?
Thanks for your help.

I just ordered "Internal Auditing Basics" from them. I'll let you know in about a week.

:topic: I've got their "Sailing Through Six Sigma" packaged. Ordered both the book and CD last summer. Got the book in the Fall....cd was on backorder and was to arrive late Fall. Christmas rolled around and still no cd. (the book, btw, references a lot on the cd...so I didn't want to start the book without it). Called up and spoke with an actual Paton! Found out, we had slipped through the cracks...it was going to be mailed to me. Early February rolls around...still no cd. Called up again. Don't know what happened to the one that was supposed going to be mailed to me (nothing in the system). They were going to mail me a cd...again. Finally got it a few days ago.
As far as their reading material goes, looks like it is written in a language we can all understand. But their level of Customer Service though..... :nope:

Hi,
Al have you used the training tape yet? Or does anyone else have a recommendation?
I was thinking about having someone come on-site and perform the training, but I wanted info on this first, trying to keep costs down.

I have not used the materials you speak of so i cannot comment on that. I will say that if you feel confident in your auditing abilities/knowledge that rather than hiring someone to come in and train you that you develope the training yourself. JMHO

John:
I've reviewed the tape, but haven't used it. It was OK. Maybe you can preview the tape yourself to decide. Paton may let you do this and return it if it isn't what you need. It can't hurt to ask.

I've only reviewed the tape and passed it on to others for additional review.
