Are there any plastic materials restricted for use in the manufacturing of automotive parts, such as PVC or ABS or anything?
Please let me know.
Thank you

How does this question pertain to ISO 14001? As for restricted materials you will need to refer to industry and customer specific requirements as well as legal requirements applicabe to your organization.

To answer your specific question.....there are none that I am aware of.

There are some restrictions pertaining to plastics parts, however, I would suggest you refer to the restricted substance list published by your customer.

Plastic parts restrictions are not part of any normal unified standard. Plastic parts in automotive are specified by material type and physical properties. ABS and PVC are used extensively in a lot of industries. Plastics compounds have been restricted by EPA regulations which eliminated the use of heavy metal stabilizers, such as lead, and cadmium, about 1993.
Not sure understand exactly what you are asking.
