Hello again, As I stated in my last thread I am very new to ISO. I have a question. The 3rd party that audits us for ISO certification has ask me for
a list of requirememts to send to them before they can set up a spring audit for upgrading our ISO to 9001:2000. One of the requirements they ask for is my core items. I have no clue as to what they are talking about. I think it might be the standards of the ISO but I am not sure. Can anyone please help this new beginner with what I am sure is a very stupid but simple questions.
I thank you

Stan

Why not ask them what they want, they work for you.

I can do that, started to but did not want to sound stupid to the auditing
group. At least out here people already know I am a bit dense. I appreciate the advise.

Stan,

If their requirements are not clear, ask for clarification. I work for a registrar, and I know that communication is critical. As an auditor it is my responsibility to use terms/language that the auditee understands. Not "ISO-ese".

Based on your post, I suspect that your ABS friends want to know any regulatory requirements and also the main processes that comprise your QMS, but DO ASK, don't assume.
