i am new to this area..any expertise here can assist or help me? how to conduct a machine capability study? especially for eletrical discharge machine (EDM).is there any standard procedure?what are the parameters of the machine I need to look into?

Hai
As per the machine capability Ananlysis .We need not to go for testing machine paremater somthing like discharge voltage and rate .
The machine capability study is been conducted that the machine is capable of produce the required precesicion and accuracy.For that we have to take 125 or 50 continous components from the machine and go for the Capability study which is as same as process capability analysis method.And for the accpectance criteria the MPk should me more than 2 (What we call it as Cpk in Process capability).
