Earlier this week, while at the AAQG meeting in Washington DC, I queried the OASIS database for the number of AS91X0 certificates and came up with this chart for the top 20 CRB's.
The chart indicates the number of certificates back on August 12 and September 28. Also, please note that the discrete CRB units are listed, as specified in the OASIS database. For example, LRQA has accredited units in US, UK, France, Spain, etc . . The OASIS database lists each CRB office separately.

It looks like somebody's org is gaining Sidney :)
Those are pretty interesting numbers overall and the change from 2004 to 2005 is interesting. Any info as to why the big increase?

Sure. More OEM's are requiring their aero suppliers to go the route of accredited AS9100 certification. OEMs such as Airbus, GE Aircraft Engines and others....

OK Sid, what gives? You guys giving out trading stamps or what?
Well we can't be the LARGEST in all sectors I guess:notme:
The numbers are looking pretty strong for quite a few others in the market as well.
My good friend Tom Haney (remember Tom?) once told me that there was more than enough business for eveyone and that's pretty much how I look at it.
Good for DNV and congrats:applause:

Isn't this list of Registrar/Certification certs (numbers) issued? Does it reflect satisfaction with the specific Registrar? Or just the number game? :notme: :biglaugh:
