Hullo Peach, and welcome to the Cove :bigwave: Could anyone tell me whats is V1000 Audits That's a new one for me, but I'm certain someone else here can help you with that Can anyone show me some samples of quality auditing check sheetSee the Post attachment List (http://elsmar.com/Forums/fileslist.php) at the top of the page Also what is process audits? More or less what it seems like: Instead of auditing the system you follow the process... Some previous threads on the subject:
ISO9000 Process Audit - Internal and External - A Definition (http://elsmar.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=2253&highlight=process+audit)
New to Internal Process Auditing - Seeking Sample Process Audits (http://elsmar.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=7937&highlight=process+audit)
I dont know if i can ask silly questions like this in here But of course you can... Silly questions are explicitly allowed here
:D (Only, I don't think your questions are silly...)

/Claesgoogling (v1000 +audit) turns up this page
http://www.valeo.com/automotive-supplier/Jahia/lang/en/pid/203
which uses the term in regard to an automotive quality audit.

Of course, note they misspell "supplying" by writing "suppling" - always good for a giggle at someone's hubris in demanding supplier quality while misspelling a word in the main title.

I'm curious where Peach got the term in the first place.

I endured many Valeo 1000 assessments in my last job. Valeo is a large Tier 1 Automotive supplier.

They are based in France and the V1000 has some truly bizarre translations in the English version.

That said, the V1000 system is a very complete document, possibly exceeding TS16949 requirements. It is a business excellence model. There is a big focus on improvement.

To score well, your company will need to be well along on the Quality journey. They sure made us a lot better company!

Sorry, since I changed jobs, I no longer have access to the documents.

Here is a link to Valeo. Perhaps a kind soul at Valeo corporate would help out a student if asked nicely?

Welcome to the Cove, Peach :bigwave:

Valeo is one of our largest customers. Caster's link will get you the Contents of Valeo's Supplier Quality Manual but, as it states, you must contact "your Valeo SQA" for details of the manual. It is very detailed and the expectations are "high". I have a copy but I believe it is copyrighted.

Basically, there are seven "stages" to become a "certified" (ship to stock) supplier with a very detailed audit regimen at each step. I'll ask my SQA if there is any possiblity of posting excerpts.

welcome to the cove, peach, caster and bill is absolute right, we have been audited by this customer two weeks ago, the V1000 Audit is their supplier assessment audit, more stringent than the TS 16949 requirements, theirs are copyright, so you need to contact their SQE in case you need a copy
