Employee or Entrepreneur? Both!
I have been an entrepreneur since 1995 and I would not trade it for anything. What I like most about it is that I have control over my time and I get rewarded based on the work that I perform.
Money is a great motivator but should not be the main reason to be an entrepreneur. If you have a passion in an area and believe you can make some money at it, go for it.
When you graduate it is usually a good idea to try a get a job and work as an employee.Posted 20th February 2010 at 06:53 PM by DannyK

Employee or Entrepreneur? Both!
An army needs both generals and soldiers... Generals need soldiers to fight, soldiers need generals to be organized, led, shown a goal to reach...
So, both of them are required, each needs the other.
However, none of them wins at the end.
So, you want to know who wins?
Politicians, of course.
To make a long story short... Forget about the liberals' unseen hand or the socialists' social sharing bla bla. Economics is just like nature, there is a feeding triangle; bigger fish eats the smaller one, the one, who complies with the enviroment and evolves, survives, there is the equilibrium of the system -not a holy justice... You may choose to be the shark, or, the bug. It depends on your capacity and your enviroment.Posted 20th February 2010 at 04:15 AM by suildur

Employee or Entrepreneur? Both!
Employee or Entrepreneur? Both!
When I was in my first year industrial training, our training officer, a retired major from army once said and i quote :
" One who creates or generates employment are the first level citizens and the rest are second level. "
He thrust upon us the need to equip ourselves with the skills and knowledge that we gain in the industrial training to later become first level citizens.
Its a natural balance that not many become entrepreneur. Not many take two things ahead, RISK and SELFDRIVE, to become from second level to first level citizens. There can be many factors to this., family background, child upbringing, like father like son behaviour etc etc ...
Not to say that the second level citizen is in any way inferior to the first level. As not all are leaders not all are entrepreneurs.
And coming to money .. who stands more risk in losing the money ???
I would again say it is a natural balance and nothing really stops one from becoming an employee to an employer. Go ahead, get MOTIVATED and take that RISK and reep your REWARDS.Posted 20th February 2010 at 04:10 AM by somashekar
