I'm interested in working in Australia Or New Zealand

Hello!
I have read that Immigration rules have changed in Australia, so it would be easier to have graduation accepted and to get a good job opportunity there (is it correct?). Is there anyone in the Forum who has been in Australia or who know anyone there? How was his experience? Are there good Quality oportunities there?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Alekra

I live in Australia and the Quality Assurance job opportunities are good, especially if you choose to live in the bigger cities. I am unsure of immigration rules though. We recently employed a food technologist from the UK, she accepted the position and then moved over here. I believe she had to organise working visas and such, some time in advance of her final decision to move here. She just contacted a lot of the manufacturers in Australia expressing interest in working for them and asking if there were any positions available. I believe she was offered a number of positions. She had to make a special trip over to here for interviews though. Good Luck!!!!

Finally someone from Australia. It’s not about immigration to your country that I’m writing now.
It’s about standards.
Here in Europe we are using Australian/New Zealand’s Risk Management AS/NZS 4360:2004. It’s easy and precise. In my opinion a very good work!
Each day we are having a smaller word...:bigwave:

Hi everyone,
I haven't been around for a while but I may be able to help out a little here. We have recently employed an English Furnace Engineer, a South African Electrical Engineer, Our GM is a Scotsman as is one of our accountants and we have an American Metalurgist. If you have the skill then it seems relatively easy for people to work here. I am working in a highly industrial area of Australia (Central Queensland Coal Fields) and we are finding it very hard to find skilled and unskilled employees.

I thought moving to Australia myself. The Australian Government has a great and easy to use website. Here are some links.

Australian Government web site - "Australia's General Skilled Migration Program is designed to attract people who have skills in particular occupations that are required in Australia. These occupations are listed on Australia's Skilled Occupation List (SOL)."

http://www.immi.gov.au/migration/skilled/index.htm

Liink to Skilled Occupation List (SOL) (Quality Manager is on the list)
http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/pdf/1121i.pdf

I may see you there once the kids graduate High School and leave home. Then, again they may live in the basement for ever!

Re: I'm Interested In Australia Or New Zeland

Hi Alekra
I know a Quality Manager in Brisbane who is from Brazil and holds both Brazillian and Australian citizenship. If you would like to send me an email I will forward to him and perhaps you can correspond to discuss emigration to Australia. There is a resources boom on at the moment in Western Australia and plenty of work. Also the Defence industry is very active at present. Viewing on the beaches isn't bad either!!

Good Luck

I am also interested in working Australia and register here for application for VISA.

Please suggest me this is an official site or fake?

It is safe to use it's services?

Till date I didn't pay any fee.

You are right to ask. The site you linked is commercial; I can tell by the .com at the end of its web address, and the advertisement that immediately pops up.

It may be all right to use the site, but here is the government visa portal. I would use that instead, expecting a commercial site to have fees for its services.

A fair percentage of emigrants, students and working professionals in Australia and New Zealand are from Malaysia and their first stop is always the local Australian or New Zealand Embassy - from where they get information on authorized or accredited agencies that they can deal with.
