My AIAG certification as a Suplier Auditor to ISO/TS 16949:2002 is about to expire. Has anyone attended the refresher coure (3 days) and how much different is it from the original (4 day) course. Is there anything 'new' or 'exciting' (yes, hard to believe, I know, but I live in hope) in the refresher course?
Thanks.
Andy
Andy, I took the CB auditor refresher training, and the CB auditor test (and passed...yea!)
For what it's worth, assuming it is similar in content. I was reluctant to take the time for the refresher training. However, they state they are trying to reduce the ranks of auditors, so they may be doing that in supplier auditor ranks as well.
I am glad I took it. It was clear they focused way more on the Rules and something called CB Competency Criteria, than on the standard.
The CB Competency Criteria is a compilation of the "sins" they have found during witness audits and addresses a lot of the weaknesses they are trying to shore up.
Other than that, it is very similar in content, and our CB test was structured the same as before.
