Can a non AS9100 facility build a Aerospace product?

Hi All,

Can a non AS9100 facility of your company build an aerospace product (cables) and the 9102 be performed at another facility who's AS9100? Customer did not specified where cables are to be built?

AS9100 has requirements for work transfer and outsourcing processes. If the customer was led to believe that the product was being built in one specific location, what you are asking goes against AS9100 and ethical practices.

If the customer knew that the harnesses would be built elsewhere, then the question would have been unnecessary, isn't it?
