Tooling Change Request Template

Hey Guys,

I am looking for a Tooling Change Request. My Boss is wanting a document to show past tooling changes from dimensional data. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have not been able to locate a specific form, but to me it sounds similar to an Engineering Change Request (ECN) + record(s).

I found this thread. Look at the attachments and see if any of these could help you. At least, it could be a start. I will look further.

The ones I've seen (sorry, don't have any examples) are kind of similar to the ECN in that they

• capture key info about the changes requested (what to, when, who by etc)
• get relevant people involved in looking at the change & agreeing to it (or not)
• consider related implications (eg, if any need to change procedures, training etc)
• get sign-off that it's been done & in a structured fashion

I'd think you could get an idea from ECNs and run something up that'll work in your place.
