I don't think that every process was bad before the "magic creation" of 5S. I might be wrong but 5S is no miracle, or the cure for everything. Simply common sense, makes you maintain your house organized and to follow certain routes to go to certain places.
Wayne, I think I didn't explain myself. I do think management affects everything within a company, that's why I think you cannot see a process just like a series of steps and only that. And then on the other side you see management. There's a LOT more behind those steps
I'm sure that you all have more experience than me in this issue, so I'm actually enjoying reading all your comments, I feel like I'm learning a lot.
