Corporate "Letter of Conformance to TS 16949" - New Startup Plant
We are in the process of starting up a new plant. We currently have 2 plants already under our Corporate Certificate.
As this is a brand new location and to get TS we need to have 1 year of measures in place, therefore we will be seeking a "letter of conformance to TS".
Are you familiar with the audit day requirements for the letter of conformance? The new plant will be part of the corporate umbrella so the new location shares the existing documentation (levels 1-3) currently in place. Do we still have to do a full Stage 1 and Stage 2 audit to obtain the letter of conformance. Followed by an additional Stage 1 and Stage 2 in year two to receive the actual TS.
