Please Help! Control of monitoring and measuring equipment - infrared thermometer for cross-check

Dear Brothers,‎

I’m using infrared thermometer for crosschecking and verifying kitchen cold rooms and ‎refrigerators.‎

Is it necessary to calibrate the used thermometer to comply with ISO 9001 standards 7.6 ‎‎“control of monitoring and measuring equipment?

In addition of that, the thermometer costs $150, and calibration services expense is around ‎‎$95. ‎
‎ ‎
Please need your advice for this matter, and how can I properly implement clause 7.6 in this ‎case.‎

Thanks ‎
