Sorry, but your understanding is incorrect. ISO 9001 is a quality management system standard. It deals with quality. It is not, contrary to what some would like others to believe, a business operating system. Nothing in ISO 9001 deals with OH&S and environmental issues. Read section 0.4 of ISO 9001.
