Bartlett or Levene Test Software - Homogeneity of Variances
I am in the process of testing for homogeneity of variances within multiple spindle and multiple workstation machines. Have used the Bartlett's Test in the past (prior to PC's, yes, I know I'm Old) but would like to seek out if any software might be available for this. Any help will be great!

Re: Bartlett or Levene Test Software - Homogeneity of Variances
The title of your post is at odds with your request.
Bartlett's test is for normal data. Levene's is for non-normal data.
Minitab will provide both tests.

Also, this is posted in the Software Quality Assurance forum, but it's about quality assurance software.

Re: Bartlett or Levene Test Software - Homogeneity of Variances
To Miner,
Thank you for the input . I have done the Bartlett's Test manually some time ago and it was very time consuming. When I did a web search looking for software, the Levene's Test also came up. Was not familiar with this one so I threw both out there.

Re: Bartlett or Levene Test Software - Homogeneity of Variances
Jim,
LOL
I will pick your (or others) brain one more time. I checked out the minitab site and they suggest that an F-Test may be a substitute when there are only two groups. We are going to assess a machine with 4 workstataions each on a left side/right side. By this I mean these workstations do the same operations on the same part number and we then will have 2 pcs as our output (left and right).
Is this the "two groups" identified for an F-Test substitution?
