These are the only two we have here, I think:

You will need Excel 2007 or newer for this file type.

Re: Excel Calibration Database attached

The database Marc linked is very well done, and was an inspiration for the one I posted.

It was not my intention for the file I posted to be a one-size-fits-all type of database. I designed it specifically for my needs. What I think is most benificial are the macros the run the database. I've been able to use them in many other applications, and with some modification I think others may find them useful.

I'm a VBA/macros noob, and put everything together like a Frankenstien based on google searche results, but the code is pretty simple and should be easy enough for a beginner to figure out with a little effort.

Just an update. I have been able to load this program on several PCs and run it without any issues.

To learn more about this spreadsheet and how it works you'll have to view some of the hidden tabs (File\Options\Advanced\Show Sheet Tabs, in '07), and check out the macros.

By updating the dropdown lists via the hidden tab you should be able to customize this sheet pretty easy.
I would like to change the "Equipment" data ....
specifically the instrument I.D. _ ownership _ and _ description....

any clue?

Sorry for the delay in response. Haven't been to the Cove in a while.

A few things to get started:

-I'm using Excel '07/'10
-If sheets are protected with try blank " ", or "password". Just click Review>Unprotect sheet to edit
-Flie>Options>Advanced>Show sheet tabs

On the InstrumentLog tab you should be able to change any and all data.

This is a rather crude database, so you'll have to change code and tables manually.

Hope that helps. Good luck.
