Is the AIAG IMDS Summit Productive - Worth the time/investment?
Hi Fellow Covers,
First of all, let me apologize is this is in the wrong thread forum, but I am wondering if any of you have had experience with the AIAG IMDS Summit. Have you found it productive? Worth the time/investment?

Apparently this conference is all that much to speak about
I've heard a few negative things about this before, but wanted to verify it with some fellow covers. Maybe their silence is response enough.

My silence is instead due to never having attended the Summit.

I figured that may be an issue as well. It is after all fairly small and localized/specific conference. It was worth a shot at least.

I am glad we were able to clear that up. I believe I may have benefited from attending such a summit, but have been subject to budget constraints. I suspect that's the case with other Covers as well.

Re: Is the AIAG IMDS Summit Productive - Worth the time/investment?
I attending the summit last year and found it helpful. How well do you know IMDS? You have to know the system in order for the summit to make sense. It was a panel made up of representative from the automotive industry - Ford, GM, Fiskars, etc. who each gave a short presentation on what they expect from suppliers, followed by Q&A's.
I would not consider it a beginners training class so don't go if you are expecting them to step you through a submission.
I hope to attend this year as well.
