Flowing Requirement(s) down to Subcontractors
We received a nonconformance for the following:
A customer flowed down a requirement for PCB boards to be built to J-standard. We flowed down this requirement to our subcobntractor. We did not inspect product coming from the subcontractor to the J-standard (we do not have anyone within the company trained to it).
Is there a way to delegate this to the supplier? I am assuming we would have to explicitly state they are to perform verification to the standard and provide records of some sort?
