Hi Friends:

I was asked to prepare a presentation about 5 Whys for training purposes to the Mfg Engineers and I came up with this one. I refused to follow the academic approach and I kinda put whatever I have learned in my 12 years experience in the Quality area but I would like your opinion on the presentation.

Hi there

Quite interesting stuff, though quite dense.

Depending the level of awareness of you trainee, I think you might go too deep, though I was quite interested myself with your training material.

One exampel I often used is small kids :
Why dad ? why ? why ? why ? why ?

I didn't know or didn't see the specificity of 4th and 5th why this way, so the approach is interesting.
I usually recommend the 5W after a 5M, to get all sides covered, and avoid jumping into the first obvious cause

What error message do you get when you try? I have just downloaded it without a problem.

Hi Marc, Thanks for the prompt reply. I get the error that I have not logged in and it shows me the login page. When I try to login, it says you are already logged in.

I have tried this many times and everytime the same things happens.

Please help.

Log out of the forum. Clear any cookies from Elsmar.com, empty your browser cache, close your browser, reopen your browser. Go to the forum home page ( http://Elsmar.com/Forums/ ) and make sure it does not show you as logged in. Then log in and make sure it says you are logged in - You will see your forum user name in the upper right of the page. Then try to download again.

The problem may be that you and someone else are using the same computer - I see shwetagbhatia and atewhs are sharing the same computer - Or you have registered twice using different user names and email addresses.
