Thank You! Interpretation of MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis) Linearity and Bias Study Results

Hello All,

I am new in this forum and I am not familiar with MSA studies but I am interested in it. I've performed gage linearity and bias study but I am wondering how to interpret the result I have from this study. Result are in attachment. I will be very thankful if somebody help with interpretation of the result.

Look! Re: Interpretation of the linearity and bias study results

In the "ideal" situation, the blue "zero" line should fall within the red 95% confidence interval lines. Unfortunately, your data does not. This means that there is a statistically significant positive bias for both X and Y.

The next decision that you must make is whether this bias is of any practical significance. This will depend on what you are measuring and how tight the tolerance. If your tolerance is +/- .1, you probably have no problem. If the tolerance is +/- .01, you have a problem. This you must decide.
