Please Help! HACCP Certification for Single Use Disposable Food Contact Grade Gloves

Hi All,

I am presently selling single use, disposablefood grade gloves for food contact industries. One of my customers recently require that I provided them a copy of HACCP for these food grade gloves. The issue:
a. The glove factory that I bought from does not have HACCP certification but is medical exams(ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA CFR 820). The gloves meet the FDA food contact CFR 177:2600 requirements and Europe's food contact claims(including migration limits).

b. How do I get a HACCP certification for my gloves, without asking my supplier to apply for HACCP certification (My glove purchase volume from them is not HUGE enough for them to consider).

c. However,my supplier told me that many of their customers in Europe/Australia applies for the HACCP certs without involving the factory.

Can anyone assists me?

Welcome to the Cove.

I can certainly see some critical control points in the process starting from dispatch at your suppliers factory till they reached your customers. I does seem possible considering the fact that you are part of the supply chain. Talk to a few CB's that are operating in the country.
