I haven't been able to hang around in the Cove for a while, and here is the reason.

I want to announce the arrival on 26 January (Australia Day) of my first child, Lily Gutherson.

I hope to be able to get back to the Cove soon but things are in her hands for the moment.

An Australian Born on Australia's National Day...now that is special. My eldest daughter (I have four) was born on New Years Day (1983). The good thing is that it helps us males remember birthdays if it coincides with something else Well done and get your rest you will need it.

Your 1st? Absolutely fantastic!! I can remember the feeling myself, although it was 30 years ago. You'll want to do everything and will feel that you're not doing enough.

How are the grandparents holding up? Is it a 1st for them too? I'll tell you from the standpoint of being one that when looking at her picture I wanted to give her a big hug. She is beautiful baby!!


I am jealous..I need a new grandbaby. Judi and I only have 9 and the dog gone kids have said "No More". It's not fair.

Give her a hug for old Randy in the USA...toss one in for Marc and the others while you're at it.

A new adventure has begun. Congratulations!

All my children are grown and one is moving out today and taking the grandson with them. Cherish every moment because they grow too fast and they are never that age again.
