Hi guys,
I have another question to the experts here.
I work in a PCBA (smt) factory. we had a customer audit and one of his finding was that he can't find evidence or explanation to how our solder paste height machines specifications and performance meet the requirements for our production.

We sent him the IQ and OQ report of these machine, but he still saying the same.
any advice? can someone explain what he basically wants?

thanks!!!!

Good day Alon,

I wonder where the height requirements come from?

NASA has a set of requirements for SMT, as does the industry group document IPC-A-610E-2010 and IPC-9850A, Surface Mount Placement Characterization. Both of these documents are available for purchase. Is your customer citing something specific from one of these documents or something like them?

He might be stating that your equipment aren't capable to meet production requirements...Is there a capability study that he was shown state that (if that is what he meant)..?

What are the requirements that he cited as fail? What are the specs and performance indicators(etc) that does not meet them? I think you need to re-assess your IQ and OQ reports as it may still be showing your machines as not capable to meet production requirements.....

I am in a hurry but here are some links that you could check,
