What food safety standard requires a food defense program manual?

I know that every organization engage in food business should be committed to producing safe, legal and wholesome products including intentional adulteration of products that can be affected by internal or external sources. But what specific food safety standard explicitly requires a food defense program manual?

I see. Thank you, Marc. I raised the question because I was advised to develop one and check the "requirements" over the net.

Is it simply another term for a HACCP? HACCP is at the core of all Food Safety Programs.

I have read this objective difference
objectives for HACCP:
  • Definitions associated with HACCP.
  • The three types of hazards.
  • The seven principles of HACCP.
  • The difference between processes that are "in control" and those that are "out of control."
  • What you should do if a process goes out of control.
  • What a HACCP Manual should contain.

objectives for Food Defense on the Front Line:
  • The difference between food safety and food defense.
  • Warning signs that point to suspicious activity.
  • Security risks linked to visitors.
  • Suspicious activity to look for.
  • The most common threats to the food supply.
  • The most significant food security concerns.
  • What basic food security programs should address.

Looks like food defense is related to intentional adulteration vs HACCP/food safety which deals with unintentional adulteration.

I would start my serach from the Bioterrorism Act if I were a USA firm.
