Planefinder works only for commercial scheduled flights in general, although some smaller craft also show on occasion. No military or helicopter flights.
I like the tab where you can view emergencies (under the database tab). I have also used Flightradar, and for satellites you can use www.n2yo.com
Definitely the best. Especially since you can jump into their cockpit and get all sorts of extra information about the actual plane. My kids love this.
