Using SAP for SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Reports)

Is anyone using SAP to enter SCAR?
If so, how is SAP set-up to accept the SCAR information?

We currently send emails to suppliers asking for corrective action reports / root cause analysis investigation and hope the supplier replies. With so many suppliers and issues to manage, we cannot effectively “nag” suppliers to get a response.

I apologize if this is the incorrect forum or if this is a redundant question.

You may have to invest in SAP's Quality Management module to remorselessly track SCARs (and PARs/CARs) to their effective completion.

In my opinion it can be done in SAP , provided you are able to configure all the functionality available in QM Module and integrate well with the MM module.

We are also in the process of developing the same, and improving uses of SAP QM Module , It require to transfer knowledge of quality process to the ABAP developer.

As a typical example , a attaching a mail transaction which we had a with a cement supplier based upon data log in partially in SAP , my wish that the entire analysis should have come from SAP itself.

I hope that you develop some of the these and also wish to have more interaction on this subject.
